It hit me - almost literally - like a thunderbolt. More direct evidence that sudden changes in atmospheric pressure can have a profound effect on inflammatory and autoimmune conditions, such as arthritis. If you're interested in why you sometimes experience pain,...
Discovery Lab
Discovery Lab is where I take on the role of human guinea pig. I test what works (and what doesn’t).
I’ve experimented with dozens of supplements and wellness protocols. Some have had a profound and even life changing impact, others have done absolutely nothing.
The Great Karoo Experiment
This is perhaps the most dramatic autoimmune experiment I've conducted to date. We're moving to the Great Karoo in South Africa for 3 months. As you probably know by now I have ankylosing spondylitis, an autoimmune disease that affects the spine and large joints in...

🔬 How I track my results and analyse the data
I track all findings on the Wellness Plan (a detailed spreadsheet!) I created to track my autoimmune disease.
🔗 You can create your own Wellness Plan here
At the time of writing this contains 94 different data points, each of which I track daily. It includes self reporting (e.g. I ate xyz for lunch) and wearables data (e.g. my resting heart rate is xyz) as reported by my smart watch.
There are LOTS more Discovery Lab reports to come but I try to give each test as much time as possible, so that I can gather data and feel more confident in any findings.
